Auburn, ME– Mechanics Savings Bank recently donated $1,000 to Safe Voices, a non-profit organization that helps to advocate, educate, and provide shelter for victims of domestic violence. In the last fiscal year, Safe Voices assisted 1,660 people in our communities who were victimized by domestic violence. A number of bank employees will participate in the bank-sponsored fundraiser: Safe Voices 5k Walk/Run to End Domestic Violence, which will take place on May 31st. All proceeds will help support vital services in the community.
